The Team
Richard Homer
Managing Director
In 1992, Richard began his career as a Graduate Engineer. After 11 years in engineering, he transitioned to the waste industry in 2003. With expertise in both Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste, as well as materials recycling, Richard recognised the potential for a comprehensive recycling and waste management business. In 2009, he founded Century Recycling with the vision of establishing a professional enterprise that prioritises top-notch service standards and reliability.
Vicki Homer
Director
Vicki, Richard’s wife, officially joined Century Recycling in May 2015 after a 14-year career in the waste management industry. With expertise in managing national contracts for large clients in Construction, Retail, and Social Housing, she focused on enhancing recycling and sustainability practices. Additionally, she collaborated with the Environment Agency, gaining extensive experience in contaminated land remediation, soil washing processes, and hazardous waste recovery and disposal.
